Some words from Renee:
A significant strength I bring to counselling is the combination of professional expertise and lived experience. Through navigating neurodivergence within my family of origin, marriage and parenting journey, as well as supporting loved ones experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and bipolar disorder, I have developed a deep appreciation for the realities many face.
This perspective is particularly valuable when supporting those managing the pressures of modern work environments alongside family responsibilities, caregiving roles, relationship challenges and mental health concerns. I understand how workplace stress rarely exists in isolation, and often intersects with broader issues affecting a person’s capacity to function, perform and maintain wellbeing.
I have a particular interest in supporting those in high-demand professional roles who frequently navigate significant levels of responsibility both within and outside of the workplace. I have a genuine understanding of the invisible load associated with leadership, caregiving, parenting, educational advocacy and maintaining career progression. This enables me to engage effectively with those individuals experiencing burnout, perfectionism, compassion fatigue, role overload, imposter syndrome and/or emotional exhaustion.
My counselling approach combines evidence-based practice with authenticity, compassion and practical problem-solving. I will work collaboratively with you to strengthen your emotional regulation, improve coping strategies, enhance communication and relationships, as well as develop sustainable approaches to wellbeing. I will help you create realistic pathways during periods of uncertainty, transition or crisis, that are values-led and infused with principles.
My ability to connect quickly, understand complexity beyond the presenting issue, whilst translating insight into actionable strategies will help contribute to your long-term wellbeing, effective workplace engagement, and personal growth.
